Hello everyone.
Today, I’d like to share a home organizing project for the house of parents in their 80s.
This time, we focused on supporting the father’s room.
Let’s start with the after photo.

Before organizing, the room felt cluttered and uncomfortable,
and it was difficult to clean and maintain.

We first removed three large wardrobes that were no longer needed,
then carefully discussed which furniture and belongings were truly necessary.

One of the highlights of this project was a thoughtful idea from our client, ◉様.
She created a tissue and remote-control holder using items already in the home.
By combining a small pouch and a tissue case,
she arranged them as a wall pocket next to the bed.
Many senior parents feel especially happy
when familiar household items are reused as storage solutions

Since he measures his blood pressure every morning,
we reorganized the space to create a clean and comfortable
“blood pressure station” that makes daily routines easier.

Looking at his belongings,
we could sense his preference for elegant items—
you can often learn so much about a person through the things they cherish.

We also sorted through unused kimono, clothing, and bedding together.
Organizing a parents’ home is not just about tidying a space.
It’s about making everyday life easier, safer, and more comfortable for the years ahead.
Handling bulky items like old wardrobes or broken electronics can take both time and money.
In this case, however, some hidden gold was discovered in the house, which reportedly sold for more than four times its original purchase price.
In the end, the income more than covered the cost of disposal.

Honestly, organizing a parents’ home is often “something the children will do someday.”
If that’s the case, hiring a professional while the parents are still healthy—and using the parents’ resources—can be a great choice.
It also allows for tasks like banking or inheritance procedures to be handled alongside,
so that any sudden hospitalization or health issues can be managed immediately.
Both parents and children can feel more secure,
and in the long run, the cost-benefit is excellent.

At ◉’s home, fresh flowers were displayed at the entrance.
Seeing flowers and artwork in a tidy space truly adds beauty and warmth⭐︎
◉ has had a busy and challenging few months—balancing childcare, work, health concerns, and even their parents’ hospitalizations during the organizing process.
Yet, thanks to the organization, handling hospital visits and paperwork became smooth,
and their child also achieved acceptance to their first-choice school.
As ◉ said,
“As soon as the organizing was finished, everything started moving in a positive direction.”
I’m often told that my presence feels like the dawn of a new day in my clients’ lives (laughs).
I hope to continue being that light,
guiding people out of the tunnels they find themselves in.

A little about me—my own before-and-after story!
About 4–5 years ago, I asked a highly sought-after advisor featured in magazines
for advice on how to grow my business.
They gave me a single, unforgettable question:
“If you were the client, what kind of person would you want to hire?”
That question changed everything.
I realized that honing my skills alone wasn’t enough—I needed to face myself as well.
Since then, I’ve lost 11 kilograms, focused on self-reflection and personal care,
and worked through many challenges and hardships.
Because of all that, I’m confident that who I am today is exactly where I need to be.

I’ve also received special gifts from clients—like a cherished wallet I’ll treasure.
Some even gave me cute chocolate golf balls, and unnecessary golf clubs to support me and my husband as we started golfing.
These gestures remind me that I live surrounded by love and the joy of reusing what others share (laughs).
To all the items that have come into our home:
welcome! I will take care of you and treasure you from now on.
